BTS Jimin Muse, Interlude: Showtime Artwork Song Painting

This painting is inspired by Jimin’s recent solo album Muse. As Jimin is my muse I just had to create some vibrant art from the whole vibe and concept of this album. 

My pieces of Art are designed through my own emotions and how each music or concept makes me feel. I paint to portray the vibes and feelings inspired by music and themes. I select particular colours and designs to convey how I feel the song feels to me, and how I interpret the themes in the album.

I hope each piece of art finds a home that feels the same. Like you connect to my piece of art, like how I connected to the music. 

This design is painted on an 18x18cm Wooden panel. I have glazed the painting with a glossy varnish so the moment will be captured forever. 

This interlude track was a hard one to think of an idea for, but I remember hearing remnants of it in the Smeraldo Garden Marching Band Music Video. I then used the photos from the live video to create the piece. As the interlude is called showtime I wanted to depict Jimin like getting ready to sing and him singing. As for the colours, I wanted to show a mix of colours as a blend of emotions we often feel with his performance. The prominent tone is purple, so I did add pops of blue and pink with shimmers of gold. I feel it really does give off elements of Jimin’s aura.
