When I think of harmony, I often think of arrangements of tones. It’s a blend of various things working together. No matter how different, they come to together to work together. Harmony in life can be different especially when you are trying to harmonise yourself.
For my harmony butterfly, I picked green for a range of reasons. Green the colour of nature, a beautiful depiction of how things work harmonious together. It’s also the colour of healing, to heal we must be harmonious with ourselves.
Harmony can depict softness and lightness, as represented in the butterfly painting. It can also be chaotic and unpredictable, like you can see on the other side of the painting.
To live with harmony we must embrace both aspects of the spectrum, as both sides teach us enriching aspects of one’s self. To the person who purchases this painting, I hope Harmony always serves as a reminder to be kind to yourself and show compassion to yourself when you may not be harmonious at times.
